Cafe Development Update 10th June 2025

We had hoped that we would be open in our new location by this point, but unfortunately we have been impacted by a critical "bureaucratic" issue due to a discovery that was made during the preparation phase of installing the new kitchen extraction system.

We have been working with the building management company, our abogado, the landlord, the architect and the town hall to come to a resolution to the issue that satisfies everyone.

While we worked on that we also looked at a number of alternative sites for us to move to instead of our intended new location.  Unfortunately all of the currently available alternative sites  really did not come up to scratch, or had circumstances which would have meant it being only a very temporary and expensive arrangement.

I am very glad to advise, however, that we HAVE now all agreed on a solution that allows us to once again move forward with reopening in our originally intended new location - however there is a downside.

This solution can not be implemented as yet, and will involve us waiting until the end of the Summer to be able to open.  We will be continuing to work on the property ready for when the situation is resolve.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks we will be working on getting signed contracts and guarantees that our intended solution will be in place, and as soon as we have those we will be in a position where we can announce an new re-opening date.

We would like to apologise to everyone for the unexpected problems that have been encountered, and the resultant delay in us being able to open.  We hope that you will all stick with us, enjoy the summer, and then come and support us when we launch.
